One Book One School (OBOS)
Each year all Stanley Middle School students and staff come together to read a selected book for our One Book-One School (OBOS) program. As part of our two week OBOS event, a faculty member leader and a cross grade-level group of students meet to read together and discuss the chosen book. The program focuses on developing literacy, but also is designed to build community and to promote the character-building theme Stanley has adopted for that school year. The book selection is a tightly kept secret that is only revealed at the start of the program.
All Stanley students participate in the OBOS program. We suggest purchasing one book for each student that you have attending Stanley.
