On May 4th, ballots for Measure H hit our mailboxes. Once they arrive, many voters will decide quickly. What we do right now will shape the outcome.
On Sunday, May 3, 1,000 yard signs will be planted across Lafayette. Want one in your yard? Sign up here for a yard sign and it’ll be dropped off to you on May 3rd.
Strong schools don’t happen by accident. They happen because this community shows up - especially at moments like this. Volunteers are needed for the next five weeks. Sign up here.
Thank you for being part of what makes Lafayette special. Strong Schools. Strong Lafayette.

Volunteer Charis for PTA 2026-27 STILL NEEDED
The PTA still has a few outstanding volunteer chairs that need filled for next school year. These aren’t the heaviest of lifts, so please step up and take a role.
Seventh Grade Social Rep | You’re responsible for two grade-level social events per year. These are casual and low-to-no budget, no-host gatherings for either parents only or families. Think a get together on the lawn outside Sideboard or a get together at a local brewery on Sunday afternoon.
Co-chairs for the Sixth and Seventh grade carnival | Plan and put on--with the help of many parent volunteers and a healthy budget--a fun afternoon for the 6th and 7th graders to celebrate the end of the school year. Key responsibilities include: planning and booking indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, volunteer coordination, snack and beverage planning and event administration (ensuring facilities are properly arranged in August, the event stays within budget, and communications are handled efficiently among volunteers and school administration).
Lost and Found chair | Help school administrators manage the lost and found area at Stanley by either donating or returning labeled belongings at certain points throughout the school year.
Contact Jana Hattersley at janahattersley@gmail.com with interest or questions.
