We are looking forward to our Stanley Middle School Back to School Night.  Teachers will be holding live presentations through Zoom, and sharing information about their curriculum and practices for the year.

 

The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a welcome from the Stanley administration, PTA, and LPIE. First period class will start virtually at 6:30 p.m. and each class will meet for ten minutes.  Zero period Jazz Band and a presentation on the 8th grade trip to Washington DC will follow.

What: Annual Back to School Night

 

Back to School information and meet your child's teacher. You will meet in the Big Gym for general announcements then follow your child's schedule for quick introductions to their classes and teachers. Visit Stanley School Website and the Wildcat Weekly Newsletter for additional details.

 

  • We have changed the timing of the event from previous years, so please note - 

    • 6:00-6:20 - Welcome from Principal, PTA, LPIE, School Board in the gym

    • 6:20-7:00 - PTA Parent Reception on the blacktop

    • 6:30-6:35 - Ribbon-cutting to celebrate new campus at the flagpole

    • 7:00-8:14 - Class presentations - follow your child’s schedule

    • 8:19-8:30 - Zero Period Jazz Band in Music Room and 8th Grade DC Trip Information in the Library 

  • This is a parent-only event. 

  • Be sure to have your child fill out the schedule linked here so you know where to go.  If you are lost, there will be helpful students from the leadership class who can help you get to where you need to be.  

  • PTA and LPIE will have informational booths during the reception, so come get your spirit wear, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and catch up with other Wildcat Parents. 

  • Parking is always tricky so walk if you can.  There will be spaces available on the field and on the blacktop at Lafayette Elementary.  Please remember that we strive to be good neighbors, so be mindful of where you are parking!
